About us

The company

Desarrollo y Exploración Mineral S.A. has been developing mining, energy, port and logistics infrastructure projects in Argentina and the region since the 1980s.

What we do

DEMSA identifies opportunities, turns them into projects and takes them to the investment stage: it studies the site or the deposit, defines the technical and logistics scheme, manages approvals, sets up the corporate structure and finds the partners, operators and investors needed to execute it.

The company does not sell a standard capability. Each project builds its own team: DEMSA assembles its working teams by engaging consultants and specialists for each project.

Where we work

The historical backbone is the Paraná – Paraguay waterway, with operations in the ports of San Nicolás, Ramallo, Rosario, San Pedro, Zárate and Campana. Since 2019 the axis has extended westwards: Vaca Muerta, the bi-oceanic corridor and Chile's Biobío ports, with Chile, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, China and South-East Asia as commercial counterparts.

Values

How we work

01

Responsibility

Being aware of the impact our decisions have on the community and the environment we operate in.

02

Vision

Conducting business responsibly and sustainably, with a long-term perspective.

03

Collaboration

Logistics is about connecting dots. That idea compels us to work as a team, inside and outside the company.
