A service operating company to turn TecPlata and Puerto La Plata into the axis of the industrial region's southern gateway.
The North–South Logistics Polygon aims to set up a service operating company formed by a consortium of integrated firms, so that the TecPlata and La Plata ports become the axis of transition between today's reality and the benefits of the industrial region's southern gateway.
The platform provides for
- Road access lines with Route 6 and the Camino del Buen Ayre as the logistics backbone
- River access lines from TecPlata and Puerto La Plata to the world
- Rail access lines for nationwide distribution
- Storage of goods in transit within the La Plata Free Trade Zone
- Vehicle storage yard inside the free trade zone
- Strategic logistics services based on foreign trade
- Reduction of operating costs under the province's and Customs' current provisions
